// A SEGAL COMPANY — ENGINEERED FOR THE AIR

We don't fly aircraft. We deploy airspace.

Segal Aeronautics designs and builds autonomous aerial platforms across four theaters of the air — logistics, intelligence, transportation, and the stratosphere. One airframe architecture, one autonomy stack, re-skinned to become a freighter, a sensor, or a seat.

// 01 — THESIS

The sky moves the world's urgent freight on airframes designed to be flown, not deployed.

Air carries the planet's time-critical cargo, its sharpest intelligence, and soon its short-haul passengers — yet the platforms doing it are crew-heavy, single-mission, and certified to a standstill.

Segal treats an airframe the way we treat a hull, a building, or a satellite: surveyed, modeled, fabricated, and operated as one continuous system.

The spine is autonomy. A Segal airframe resolves its own airspace, holds station without a cockpit crew, and reports its condition rib by rib.

The same platform becomes a freighter, a sensor, or a seat — the boundary conditions change, the discipline does not.

// HEADLINE METRIC

Time-to-air

The only number that matters at an airworks. Survey to certified, flying airframe in modular, fabricated sections — not a decade of type-certification theater. We are not optimizing the old build. We are replacing it.

// 02 — FLEET

Four theaters of the air. One airframe platform.

Each line is a full program in its theater. Together they share the same airframe architecture, the same Vector autonomy stack, and the same Segal discipline.

LogisticsCargo that carries itself.

Segal Lift

Heavy-lift airships and autonomous cargo VTOL. Self-navigating freight that holds a corridor, hovers, and discharges without a flight crew — built for ports, islands, disaster zones, and routes too thin or too rough for a runway.

  • Crewless transit & autonomous corridor-keeping
  • Modular cargo modules — palletized, refrigerated, outsized
  • Hybrid-electric + buoyant lift, austere-field capable

Segal Vigil

Export-Controlled

Persistent surveillance and reconnaissance platforms — high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) drones and tethered aerostats that survey, watch, and stream a sensor picture for days over a fixed box.

  • Multi-day loiter & autonomous station-keeping
  • EO/IR, SAR, and SIGINT-class sensor masts (controlled)
  • Real-time downlink, edge-fused intelligence picture

Segal Transit

Regional eVTOL and short-haul autonomous aircraft. Quiet, electric, vertiport-to-vertiport mobility — moving people and priority cargo over congestion at city and regional scale.

  • Distributed-electric VTOL, low acoustic signature
  • Autonomous flight with single-command oversight
  • Vertiport-native: charge, turn, redispatch

Segal Apex

High-altitude pseudo-satellites (HAPS) — solar, ultra-long-endurance platforms holding station in the stratosphere for comms relay, persistent observation, and the ground-to-orbit handoff to the Segal space arm.

  • Solar-electric, multi-week to multi-month endurance
  • Stratospheric station-keeping above weather and traffic
  • Comms backhaul + wide-area persistent sensing

// 03 — CAPABILITIES

One flight algorithm. Different boundary conditions.

Our core competency is autonomous design-to-deployment, re-skinned per mission. A freighter, a sensor, and a seat are the same airframe problem with different payloads and dwell times. We solve it once, and outfit it four ways.

  1. 01Deployable today

    Survey the corridor & airspace

    Resolve corridor, airspace, weather, and field to tolerance, then compile straight to a parametric airframe model and a fabrication toolpath.

  2. 02Deployable today

    Model the parametric airframe

    Span, lift system, payload bay, and endurance solved against mission boundary conditions — one model, every theater.

  3. 03Deployable today

    Fabricate in modular sections

    Built as standardized prefabricated sections — the same module becomes cargo bay, sensor mast, or cabin. Nothing waits on a one-off airframe.

  4. 04Deployable today

    Launch and hold station crewless

    Airframes self-navigate, hold station, and discharge before anyone is aboard. The autonomy stack is shared with every Segal theater — seabed to stratosphere.

  5. 05Roadmap

    Operate for the full service life

    Handed over instrumented and certified, monitored rib by rib — propulsion, structure, payload reported in real time. We own the outcome, not just first flight.

// 04 — SYSTEMS

The platforms every airframe ships with.

Every Segal airframe runs on a shared set of systems — the same spine across all four theaters. Each one expands into its own program, and shares its spine with the naval fleet.

LIVEAutonomy

Vector

The autonomous flight + station-keeping stack: detect-and-avoid, dynamic positioning, hover-and-discharge — certified to operate crewless on a standard sortie. Shared spine with Shipyards' Helm.

// 08 — ENGAGE

Put a Segal airframe in the air.

We work with operators, ports, logistics networks, research institutions, agencies, and developers who measure outcomes in time-to-air — for freight, for intelligence, or for the people who'll fly. If that's you, the conversation is short.
